Unfortunately, given the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee and the Technical Programa Chairs of ALGO 2021 were forced to run the meetings fully online.
All the meetings will use the VirtualChair platform
(https://www.virtualchair.net/), which is accessible through a web
browser and replicates, as closely as possible, the experience of a
physical meeting, with different meeting rooms, poster rooms and
informal conversation.
Please click on the image to access the meeting platform. Access will be free until Saturday, September 4th. After that, access will be restricted to users registered in ALGO 2021.
Please read the VirtualChair section to access the meeting platform.
The conference programme is already available at this link.
A short tutorial about the VirtualChair platform is available at this link.
ALGO is an annual meeting combining the premier algorithmic conference European Symposium on Algorithms (ESA) and a number of other specialized conferences and workshops, all related to algorithms and their applications, making ALGO the major European event for researchers, students and practitioners in algorithms.
Unfortunately, given the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee and the Technical Programa Chairs of ALGO 2021 were forced to run the meetings fully online, using a specialised platform. Instructions for authors and attendees on how to participate in the virtual meeting will be provided shortly.
ALGO 2021 will be held in Lisbon, in
Portugal, and organized by the Computer
Science Department of Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon. Lisbon is an vibrant
city with a tradition of excellent hospitality, good food and amenable weather.
Lisbon is a city that makes you want to go exploring, to discover whatever might appear in every neighbourhood, on every street. It’s a safe and friendly city, relatively small but with so much to see. It’s an ideal place to spend a few days or as a starting point for touring the country. It’s old. It’s modern. It is, without doubt, always surprising.
We combat harassment and discrimination in our scientific community, adopting a code of conduct for ther ALGO conferences.
